Kings Avenue Mall

Kings Avenue Mall, situated at the heart of Paphos, is the city’s largest shopping center. With over 120 stores to explore, you’ll find everything from big names like Jumbo to trendy stores like Zara.

But wait, there’s more!

The mall has a busy food court with plenty of restaurants and cafes, a cinema playing the latest movies, and an arcade to keep the little ones happy.

Plus, there are handy amenities such as phone charging stations, free Wi-Fi, a supermarket, and places to pick up SIM cards and data packages.

Jumbo

Jumbo is one of the popular stores in the mall, and it’s got pretty much everything, from household items to toys and even clothes, all at really good prices.

The store spreads across three floors so plan on spending about 45 minutes browsing from bottom to top. And trust me, comfy shoes are a must if you want to keep your feet happy.

Clothing Stores

While the prices at the mall might not be the cheapest, you get a mix of leading brand stores alongside local boutiques like:

  • ZARA
  • Bershka
  • PULL&BEAR
  • Calvin Klein
  • FOX Kids
  • Guess
  • No Limits
  • And many others…

Restaurants and Cafes

The second floor of the mall is bustling with dining options and well-known fast food frenchises like Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut, and SUBWAY.

If you’re in the mood for some coffee, you can grab a delicious cup at Caffé Nero or Costa Coffee, or better yet, the newly opened Starbucks branch located across from Jumbo.

Here are a few more spots you might recognize:

  • TGI Fridays (American)
  • Taco Bell (Mexican)
  • Wagamama (Asian)
  • Tricolore Pasta (Italian)
  • Imperial Wok (Chinese)
  • Tavernaki (Greek)
  • Cinnabon (Pastries)
  • ChillBox Dodoni (Yogurt and ice cream)
  • DaVinci Gelato (Ice cream and crepes)

Feel free to check out the entire list of stores and restaurants.

Activities for Kids

Right next to the food court on the upper floor, you’ll find PLAY3R5, a spacious arcade with video games and amusement machines for 1 euro per play.

Recently, they’ve also added a virtual reality zone with different VR experiences available at 3 euros for 5 minutes of play.

Across from the arcade, there’s a cinema hall with six screening rooms, offering a small selection of movies in Greek or English. Tickets prices are between 8-10 euros per person.

Although the theaters are somewhat small, they’re often empty, allowing for a more private viewing experience.

Every now and then, and especially during holidays in Cyprus, there are even special activities for children, including magic shows, face painting, and live performances.

Sklavenitis

Near the entrance to Jumbo, there’s a spacious supermarket (called Sklavenitis), stocked with fresh products like fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, cheeses, and various other groceries and toiletries.

While you’re there, be sure to buy some fresh pineapple (they even peel and cut it for you) — it’s a must!

Sim Card

If you’re thinking about purchasing a SIM card at the mall, keep in mind that the SIM card itself usually costs around 2 euros. Additionally, you’ll need to factor in the price of the data package, which ranges from 5 to 20 euros.

Here are the main stores where you can buy SIM cards and data packages (don’t hesitate to ask the staff for help in setting up internet on your phone):

  • epic
  • Cyta
  • Cablenet
  • Primetel

Tax-Free

Non-EU citizens can receive a tax refund of 19% on all non-food or tobacco purchases, given that the total value exceeds 50 euros. Simply ask for a Tax-Free form when paying for your purchase.

You can then claim your refund at the Tax-Free desk inside the mall or at the small counter at Paphos Airport, located near the self-service kiosks.

To receive the refund, you must have the items, your passport, and the receipt with you. The money will be refunded to your credit card or in cash, whichever you prefer.
