Alphamega
Alphamega is a Cypriot supermarket chain with two large branches in the Paphos district.
The stores offer countless food options, including vegetables, fruits, fish, meat, and dairy products. Additionally, they have a separate section for household items and electrical appliances.
You may also see some Russian brands and a few kosher products and snacks, and if you’re gluten-sensitive, there are even gluten-free products and gluten-free cakes at the outdoor Alphamega cafe.
It’s also worth noting that while Alphamega may not be the most cost-effective option, it’s the only supermarket in the area that enables online shopping directly from their website.
So, in case you ever find yourself without groceries, there’s usually an option for a next-day delivery.
For express delivery, you can order basic groceries from the store through the Foody app.

Lidl
Lidl is a German supermarket chain that operates across Europe and the United States.
In Paphos, there are currently two large branches offering a wide range of fruits and vegetables, pre-packaged meats, various cheeses, household items, and delicious pastries conveniently located near the entrance.
By the way, you have to try the traditional olive pie!
Plus, the stores have an orange juice machine that customers can use to fill bottles of either 500ml or 1L.
However, the main reason for Lidl’s popularity is the excellent prices, especially when it comes to imported products and their own brands. Some of their ice creams, for example, are really good, and quite cheap, too.

Papantoniou
Papantoniou is a Cypriot supermarket chain that has been operating for over 35 years, with six stores scattered throughout the Paphos district, including a large branch located near the harbour.
Inside, you’ll find fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, deli meats, baby products (including diapers), household items, and even beauty products and makeup.
Just keep in mind that their delivery service isn’t the best, so you might want to use Wolt instead.
We should also mention that Papantoniou owns several bakeries (called Papantoniou Bakeries) where you can buy bread, pastries, and mouth-watering cakes at good prices.
If you love strawberries and meringue – we highly recommend the Nougatina cake!

Sklavenitis
Sklavenitis is a Greek supermarket chain with two large branches in Paphos, one of which is located on the first floor of Kings Avenue Mall, near the entrance to the Jumbo store.
In addition to essential groceries like fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, and dairy products, there are also many alcoholic beverages, cleaning supplies, household items, and electrical goods.
Although prices aren’t cheap, the supermarket offers a good selection of brands, including some imported ones that we couldn’t find anywhere else.
Personally, one of the things we love most about this place is the great pineapples, which the staff will happily peel and slice for you at no extra cost.

PopLife Supermarkets
PopLife is another supermarket chain with two large branches and reasonable prices.
Here, you’ll find fruits and vegetables, milk and eggs, different meat types (there’s also marinated chicken for those who love to barbecue), some cheeses, household items, and garden tools.

Garden of Eden, which is not too far from the mall, is a supermarket in Kato Paphos with lots of unique fruits and vegetables.

Smart is a budget-friendly chain for dry and packaged goods.

Philippos is the biggest supermarket chain in the Coral Bay and Peyia area. It has everything from fresh produce to fish and meats, household items, toys, and even clothing.

The Farm Supermarket
The Farm Supermarket is a small shop in the Universal neighborhood where you can shop for dry and frozen products, fruits and vegetables, as well as fresh eggs.
It’s very suitable for occasional shopping and for those looking for locally sourced produce directly from farmers.
There’s also a fruit market named Theophanis just a few minutes away, which offers good prices, especially on Sundays.

Gefen Mini Market (near Chabad House)
Gefen Mini Market is the only kosher grocery shop in Paphos. That said, there’s not much of a selection and the prices are generally high.
Most of the products are from Israel and include things like pasta, snacks, cookies, cheeses, challahs, and more.

Although shipping is free (there’s a minimum order of 40 euros), the selection on the website is relatively small and the deliveries to Paphos are only offered on Wednesdays and Fridays.
