Aphrodite Gardens is a luxurious and centrally situated apartment hotel in Paphos, offering modern, well-appointed accommodations at an excellent value.
It features two large outdoor pools alongside a dedicated children’s pool, manicured gardens, a fully-equipped fitness center, and even a charming small stream winding its way around the residential area.
Keep in mind that there are two complexes in Paphos called Aphrodite Gardens. Just to be clear, this review specifically focuses on Leptos Aphrodite Gardens.
Room Options
The complex boasts a variety of accommodation options, from one or two-bedroom apartments with a spacious living area to larger three-bedroom apartments and private villas scattered throughout the property.
The apartments and villas come fully equipped with almost everything you could need, including a fully stocked kitchen complete with utensils and dishes and modern amenities like air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, and even a washing machine.
However, guests should remember to bring their own laundry detergent and toilet paper for extended stays.
Hotel Facilities
The complex has two well-maintained swimming pools, furnished with comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas. Additionally, there’s a separate pool designed specifically for the little ones.
It’s worth noting, though, that there isn’t a heated pool or spa facility available on-site.
On the other hand, it offers a compact yet well-appointed gym and a modest playground area featuring two swings and a sandbox where children can enjoy themselves.
Dining and Bars
Since this is an apartment-style hotel, meals aren’t included in the stay.
The upside is that there are two minimarkets nearby (Theofanis and The Farm Supermarket), where you can find fresh produce, meats, and other basic food items.
Alternatively, you can dine at one of these restaurants:
- Pambis Diner – Located approximately 50 meters from the complex, this cozy restaurant hosts live entertainment on Sundays and Wednesdays and offers a generous menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Be sure to give their fried chicken sandwich a try.
- Elysia Breeze – A lounge bar located next to the nearby Elysia Park hotel. Beyond their exceptional cocktails, they also offer a buffet-style breakfast and provide lunch and dinner options. We’re absolutely obsessed with their quinoa salad!
How to Get to Aphrodite Gardens
Bus
There isn’t a direct bus service from Paphos Airport to Aphrodite Gardens.
If you decide to use public transport, you’ll need to catch two buses: first, bus route 612 from the airport to the Tomb of the Kings bus station, and then bus route 603 to the bus stop across from Pambis Diner.
By the way, you can also continue from there to the Old Town!
To get to Kings Avenue Mall, take bus route 603 from the bus stop near The Farm Supermarket. If you prefer a trip to Paphos promenade, simply change to bus route 611 at Tombs of the Kings bus station.
Taxi
We recommend booking a taxi in advance rather than picking one up at the airport.
A taxi ride from Paphos Airport to Aphrodite Gardens will cost anywhere between 28-35 euros. Alternatively, from Larnaca Airport, it will be between 120-140 euros.
Within the city, a taxi ride typically costs between 10-12 euros.
Car
Given the relatively high cost of taxis in Cyprus and the lack of direct public transportation from the airport to Aphrodite Gardens, renting a car is often a more economical and convenient choice.
Of course, guests can park for free inside the complex.
