Paphos is full of great places to eat, especially if you’re looking for a meal with a sea view.
From traditional Cypriot flavors to modern Mediterranean cuisine, here’s a quick roundup of the best restaurants in Paphos Harbour.
Best Restaurants in Paphos Harbour
Hondros
Nothing says ‘Cyprus’ like a meal at a traditional tavern.
Located near the Main Bus Station and the Archaeological Park, Hondros is one of the oldest taverns in Paphos.
Their menu offers different homemade dishes and shareable meze, with lots of vegeterian items, too.
While the food is generally good, the relatively high prices and mixed reviews about the service could be potential downsides.

Ta Mpania
Ta Mpania is a restaurant, café, and lounge bar all rolled into one.
Found on the waterfront near the Little Fisherman sculpture, it has almost everything – from burgers and pizzas to sandwiches, salads, and seafood.
However, in our experience, service can be slow, especially when it’s busy. Also, their cocktails aren’t the cheapest.
But with that view and sea breeze, it might just be worth it.

Ocean Basket
For seafood lovers, Ocean Basket is a must-visit.
This new branch near Paphos Castle serves not only sushi (said to be the best around) but also meze platters, fish and chips, and some surprisingly tasty salads.
Also, with a beautiful view of the marina, it’s a wonderful spot to relax.
The only downside is the service quality, which can sometimes be inconsistent.

The Moorings Cafe Restaurant
The Moorings is just a stone’s throw away from the Harbour Kiosk.
This café-restaurant has a variety of Mediterranean meals, including seafood platters, traditional Cyprus specialties, and even lighter breakfast options.
While some find the quality a bit inconsistent, the sea view and play area are definitely nice perks.
Plus, their daily happy hour (at 12:00 and 17:00) is always a crowd-pleaser.

Sail at Castle
The popular Sail at Castle is another restaurant by the water.
They have something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a hearty breakfast, pasta for lunch, or a souvlaki for dinner.
What really sets them apart are the generous portion sizes and vegan-friendly menu, though they’re not exactly budget-friendly.
But with that seaside view, it’s easy to see why people keep coming back.

Steve’s Restaurant-Bar
Steve’s Restaurant-Bar is as close to the deck as it gets!
Besides delicious drinks, they also carry a wide selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner choices to choose from.
We personally love the Forest mix smoothie and orange juice, as well as the shakshuka and falafel, two foods you don’t see on many menus.
To be completely honest, though, their french fries and burgers aren’t our favorite.

Geppetto Modern Mediterranean Restaurant
Prefer a quiet, adults-only restaurant? Check out Geppetto at M Boutique Hotel.
For breakfast, they offer a set deal of shareable meze and an extra dish, while lunch features changing platters, salads, and pizza.
At dinner, on the other hand, you can either go for individual plates or treat yourself to a five-course chef’s tasting menu.
Since it’s all about fine dining here, expect to pay a little extra.
