Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos is a luxurious 5-star, all-inclusive hotel situated between Yeroskipou and Kato Paphos (along the main hotel strip).

Although it’s considered one of the best hotels for families, couples can also find a romantic and tranquil escape here.

In fact, there’s even a seperate section exclusively reserved for adults!

Besides the five swimming pools, the hotel features a luxurious spa, a modern gym, a kids’ club, a sandy beach, and an entertainment team that hosts fantastic shows every night.

Just a heads up! There are two hotels named “Olympic Lagoon Resort” in Cyprus. One is in Paphos, and the other is in Ayia Napa.

Room Options

The hotel rooms offer a classic and minimalist design, yet they’re spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need.

Couples can opt for either a superior room with stunning sea views or a suite with a private pool in the exclusive adults-only section.

In this case, you’ll receive a specific wristband granting access to the separate pool area and reserved sun loungers based on your room number.

Families and larger groups, on the other hand, might want to consider a deluxe room or select a family suite designed to comfortably accommodate up to 5 people.

Each room has air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV (with speakers also in the bathroom), a mini-fridge, plush bathrobes and slippers, and complimentary bottles of mineral water.

Hotel Facilities

The hotel boasts a main pool, a children’s pool with a small slide, an adults-only pool with waterfalls, a covered (and heated) pool in the spa area, and a mini water park with long and twisting slides.

Additionally, there’s a spa center where you can relax in a sauna or steam bath, or pamper yourself with massages, facial treatments, and other body treatments using aloe vera and vitamin C.

For those who want to stay active, there’s a nice gym, as well as football and tennis courts. Plus, the beach is perfect for water sports.

And of course, we can’t overlook the talented entertainment staff and their captivating tribute shows to legends like Queen and Michael Jackson, which we absolutely adore!

Activities for Kids

Besides the pools, the hotel provides many engaging activities tailored for children, spanning from sports games to tournaments.

In addition, there’s an adorable nursery and a wonderful kids’ club for ages 3-12 with games and crafts. But the real attraction are the lively mascots who love to hang out with the kids, creating fun memories and taking photos together.

For teenagers (up to 18 years old), there’s another teen club with beanbag chairs, graffiti walls, and video games where they can hang out.

Dining and Bars

The hotel features five restaurants, including a main restaurant and four evening eateries.

Unlike many other hotels in Cyprus, and especially in Paphos, the buffet served in the main restaurant is exceptionally good!

  • Royal Olympic: This main restaurant serves buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner, drawing inspiration from various international cuisines. It also has separate sections for families and adults.
  • Rock n Roll: An American diner filled with Marilyn Monroe memorabilia and that classic 50s music vibe. You can grab either lunch or dinner and chow down on some tasty burgers, steaks, fries, and salads. However, there’s an extra fee to get in.
  • Captains Deck: A traditional Cypriot seafood restaurant with authentic local dishes for dinner, from delicious mousaka to halloumi cheese and hearty stews. Just don’t forget to book ahead!
  • Seven Orchids: An Asian-inspired restaurant serving a diverse array of Japanese, Thai, and Chinese cuisine. Open exclusively for dinner, with designated hours for families and adults. This is another popular spot, so it’s best to book ahead of time.
  • Garibaldi: An Italian Adult-only restaurant with dinner specialties such as risotto, pasta, and soups. However, there’s a strict “elegant” dress code and you’ll need to make a reservation to secure your table.

Other than these fantastic dining options, there’s a poolside snack bar open from morning to late afternoon offering sandwiches, pizzas, salads, beverages, ice cream, and more.

In case you’re looking to unwind with a drink, there are five bars where you can enjoy free beers, cocktails, and snacks.
