If you’re looking for a cinema in Paphos, your only option is K-Cineplex.

Located on the second floor of Kings Avenue Mall, this multiplex cinema has six screens with movies available in both Greek and English (but not in 3D, unfortunately).

Ticket prices are also quite reasonable, and seniors aged 64 and over even get a discount:

  • Infant (0-3): Free
  • Child (4-11): 8 euros
  • Adult (12-63): 10 euros, or 8 euros for Family titles
  • Senior (64+): 8 euros, valid ID is required
  • Night Ticket: 8 euros on Tuesdays

As for snacks and drinks, popcorn starts at 2.50 euros and goes up to 5 euros for a large bucket. Alternatively, you can grab nachos and Pringles for 2.50-3.50 euros each.

A bottle of water, on the other hand, is just 1 euro, while soft drinks, iced tea, and iced coffee range from 2.50 to 3.50 euros.

We went to see “DC League of Super-Pets” two years ago and had a great time. Despite being a bit outdated, the small auditorium made it feel almost like a private screening!

However, not everyone is happy.

Some people have noticed issues with the picture and sound, particularly the acoustics and volume being too loud.

The air conditioning and circulation can also be hit or miss, and there are occasional complaints about the cleanliness of the seats.

But don’t let that stop you!

Although it may have its flaws, this is still a nice spot to catch a movie, especially if you enjoy smaller cinemas.

How to Get to K-Cineplex Paphos

Bus

Getting to K-Cineplex in Kings Avenue Mall is more convenient than ever, as many bus routes now include a stop at the mall on their way to the Tomb of the Kings bus station.

For example, bus route 611 departs from Tombs of Kings bus station every 10-15 minutes and makes a stop at Kings Avenue Mall.

This route also travels through the Harbour every 10-15 minutes and reaches Aphrodite Water Park and the Luna Park.

Similarly, bus route 618 departs from Karavella station in the Old Town approximately every 15 minutes and stops at the mall as well.

From Universal area, bus routes 603 and 603B are convenient options, though they’re not as frequent. If you’re coming from Yeroskipou, route 606 to the mall runs every hour or so.

Taxi

A taxi to Kings Avenue Mall costs between 10 and 12 euros, whereas a ride from Yeroskipou or Chloraka will set you back around 15 euros.

You can find taxis waiting at the north entrance (just outside Starbucks) or to the right of the main entrance.

Car

For those arriving by car, there’s a two-level underground parking lot available for free, with elevators providing easy access to the shopping and cinema levels.

It’s also important to note that the mall is wheelchair accessible, with several disabled parking spaces for visitors.
