If you’re near the promenade, Estrella Paphos is a great place to grab a bite.
Located next to Starbucks, this coffee-restaurant has a cozy covered terrace and plenty of indoor space, though there’s not much seating outside.
We visited a few times, and the service was mostly good, especially on less busy days.
Estrella also has nine other locations, including in Athens, Thessaloniki, Rhodes, and even Limassol and Larnaca.
However, if you don’t feel like dining in, you can always get a quick delivery from Foody, Wolt, or Bolt Food.
The Menu
Estrella Paphos offers a diverse menu with lots of options.
You’ll find everything from omelets, pancakes, and salads to pizzas, pasta, and burgers. There’s also a kids’ and desserts section and a separate menu for vegans.
In fact, Estrella is probably one of the few spots in Paphos where you can get a Beyond Burger!
Since we’re big pancake fans, we had to try a few.
We got the toffee cream pancakes, cinnamon roll pancakes, red velvet pancakes, and the classic butter and maple syrup pancakes.
The portions were quite large and enough for two people, although the cinnamon roll pancakes are definitely on the sweeter side.
If you want something less sugary, go for the red velvet pancakes.
We also had an avocado toast and a plain bagel with a fried egg, served with a side of mixed greens. Unfortunately, the toast was a bit smaller than expected.
Then, we ordered the Banoffee waffle, which was both delicious and generous in size, and
We finished off our meal with a refreshing homemade orange juice and a frappe.
In addition, there are fruit smoothies, handcrafted iced teas, and a variety of coffee types if you’re looking for something else to sip on.
The Prices
The prices at Estrella Paphos are pretty average for the area.
Omelets, pancakes, and salads are about 8-14 euros, while pizzas, pasta, and burgers range from 12-16 euros.
Kids’ meals, on the other hand, are just over 9 euros, whereas juices, coffee, smoothies, and teas cost between 2-6 euros.
As for waffles and pastries, those start at 7 euros and go up to around 10 euros.
How to Get to Estrella Paphos
Bus
To get to Estrella Paphos using public transportation, take bus route 611 from Tombs of the Kings or Yeroskipou and get off at Almyra Hotel.
From Universal, you’ll need to catch bus route 603 to Tombs of the Kings and then switch to route 611.
Alternatively, if you’re in the Old Town Market, hop on route 610 to Paphos Harbour Main Bus Station and walk 15 minutes to Estrella, or switch to route 611.
Taxi
A taxi from Paphos to Estrella Paphos typically costs 10-12 euros, while a ride from Yeroskipou or Chloraka is usually 12-15 euros.
Car
In case you have a car, simply follow Poseidonos Avenue. There’s paid parking in front of the restaurant, as well as free parking on the side street.
