We found Pambis Diner not too long ago. This restaurant is located in Universal and has quickly become one of our regular spots.
The first thing that catches your eye (and ear) is the talking Macaw parrot. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but the kids love it.
We prefer to go during the day when it’s quieter, yet, keep in mind that there’s live music and Greek dancing on certain nights.
The diner also has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in case you want to smoke or just enjoy the weather.
If you’re not up for dining in, you can get your meal delivered through Foody, Wolt, or Bolt Food.
The Menu
The menu at Pambis Diner has a little bit of everything—from breakfasts to brunches, salads to pasta, and burgers to grilled meats.
They even serve seafood and traditional dishes!
We haven’t tried that many things, but we do have a few favorites, like the honey mustard sandwich.
This ciabatta bread is filled with crispy chicken and comes with a good serving of chips on the side.
When we’re feeling a bit healthier, the hummus, chicken souvlaki, and honey chicken salad are other great options.
We also tried the kleftiko (slow-cooked lamb), which was nice, though we don’t have much to compare it to.
However, there isn’t a specific kids’ menu, so you’ll have to improvise.
As for drinks, we tend to choose whatever beer is available, and there’s a wide selection of wines and coffee, too.
Unfortunately, we always end up so full that we don’t have any room left for dessert.
The Prices
Pambis Diner offers good value for money.
Breakfasts start at around 6 euros, while sandwiches, salads, pasta, and burgers are between 12-17.5 euros.
That said, some grilled meats, as well as fish and traditional dishes, can go up to 29 euros!
The price of beers and wines largely depends on what you choose, whereas a cup of coffee and dessert together will cost just over 8.5 euros.
How to Get to Pambis Diner
Bus
To get to Pambis Diner using public transportation, take bus route 603 or 603B either from Karavella Main Station or Tombs of the Kings Main Bus Station.
If you’re in Paphos Harbour, you’ll need to catch bus route 611 to Tombs of the Kings and then switch to route 603 or 603B.
From Yeroskipou, simply hop on bus route 612 to Tombs of the Kings and then switch to route 603 or 603B.
Taxi
A taxi from Paphos to Pambis Diner typically costs 10-12 euros, while a ride from Yeroskipou or Chloraka is usually 12-15 euros.
Car
In case you have a car, there’s plenty of free parking near The Farm Supermarket (a 2-minute walk away).
